California unemployment rate dips to 10.8% in May

In a good sign for real estate, California’s labor market showed signs of life in May as the state’s unemployment rate dipped to 10.8%, from 10.9% in April.

Employers added 33,900 jobs, state officials said today, including gains in education and health services, manufacturing and business and professional services. <<…>>
